IAS Deployable Communications Packages

IAS is best known for our hyper small form factor secure IP Routers, IP network communications packages, and CSfC Comprised Solutions.  However, from time to time there is a need for greater port density, greater scalability, and greater network throughput.  IAS has developed several solutions to address these requirements, but just as we build custom small form factor solutions we can also design and produce solutions that meet the needs for larger groups of users.  Our packages leverage either the use of traditional Type 1 COMSEC devices or are CSfC approvable.


IAS TACTICAL FIELD OFFICE (TFO)

The IAS TFO combines enterprise class, small form factor Half Rack Width (HRW) IP networking routers, switches, Software Definable Network Appliances ™ (SDNA™), traditional Virtual and Hyper Converged Virtual Machine Servers, and other IP networking capabilities. The TFO-H consists of three major elements, the HRW appliances, the TFO Chassis System, and the TFO Power Panel. These elements are completely modular and can be scaled to meet the smallest or largest customer requirements.

IAS STEW High Density Deployable Package (CSfC)

Our IAS STEW based deployable communications packages expand the IAS STEW’s port density from 4 NIPR and 4 SIPR ports to a total of 28 usable NIPR ports and 29 usable SIPR ports.  IAS has worked with Cisco to develop a small form factor gigabit Ethernet with POE managed switch, the (IAS CCESR-SmartSwitch), into a form factor that is the exact same size as the IAS STEW.

We have packaged the IAS STEW, 2 CCESR-SmartSwitches, and 3 of our UPS-500 uninterruptible power supplies into a single rugged transit case.  This transit case has room to add several Inmarsat BGAN terminals, or MESH networking radios, military radios, cables, laptops, etc.  Contact us for details on how we can customize it to your exact needs.

IAS CCESR-2S-R DEPLOYABLE CAMPUS WIRELESS LAN PACKAGE (CSFC)

Our IAS CCESR-2S based deployable Campus WLAN communications package expands the capability of the IAS CCESR-2S to a whole new level thru the use of commercial Wi-Fi leveraging the NSA CSfC secure network topology principles.  IAS and Aruba Networks have teamed to develop the smallest form factor, NSA CSfC Campus WLAN compliant, solution for use in extending classified networks using commercial WI-Fi technology.
